About the event

Let's celebrate the spring as you learn the ancient art of Pysanky, or Ukrainian Egg Decorating. This experience invites you into a centuries-old folk art tradition that celebrates life and love. Using a wax-resist process traditionally passed down by the Matriarch of the family, patterns are drawn onto the egg with beeswax. The egg is then dipped into richly saturated dyes, layer by layer, with the wax preserving each step of the design.
