I was taught the procedure as it has been done for thousands of years with simple tools, candle flame, organic eggs, and a clear state of mind.  My batik eggs are created using the same wax resist process pysanky is created.  I don't consider much of my work pysanky because I don't participate in the cultural traditions associated with pysanky.  The works you see here are my original designs featured on goose, duck, and chicken eggs from my free-range hens.
