About the event

Step into my home and artists’ sanctuary for an intimate and inspiring arts experience. Together, we’ll work with plant-based dyes to create a silk scarf through bundle dyeing, learning techniques and knowledge that have traditionally been passed down through generations—and take part in a pysanky workshop, decorating eggs using a wax-resist process practiced for thousands of years using these vibrant, natural dyes. We'll enjoy a farm-to-table brunch between workshops.

In addition to hands-on instruction, you’ll experience a true artist’s space, where everywhere you turn holds beauty and creative energy. This is your space to ask questions, broaden your skills, and discover new ways of bringing personal expression to your creations. There will be a “chicken meet and greet,” along with the sounds of birds and frogs from the pond, and we'll have a chance to meet Jenny's husband who cares for our thousands of honey bees. Expect a honey tasting…
